The End of Fast Ring Testing

I’m out. I can’t do it anymore. 17046-171118-1403 Windows 10 is broken as shit and it has been the bane of my existence since it installed on my computers. I’ve used preview rings of Windows for quite a while and I’ve only ever encountered minor issues.

This new issue is WINDOWS BREAKING essentially. I can’t get the bug to happen reliably, but I’ll do my best to describe it.

You know how when you launch certain programs and they require administrator privileges? After a random time of Windows uptime possibly after launching and closing a UAC requiring program you will not be able to run any more UAC programs. You can open task manager and you won’t see them there. Use the program Process Hacker 2 and possibly other task manager replacements and you will see this.

The program will be suspended essentially and if you try to run it again, it just stacks.

I haven’t found a way to fix this issue outside of rebooting.

This issue is the straw that is breaking my brain and I’m just out, I’ll get out of the insider preview ring and back on the public version, but I gotta wait to get filtered back to that version because I always remove windows.old. That’s fine I understand that’s my own doing, not being able to revert instantly. But how can a Windows update revert such an integral part of Windows?
